His leadership philosophy stands for Giving trust, being a role model, giving freedom, living appreciation and rewarding good performance. And most importantly, only as a team is it possible to achieve the goals set and celebrate success.
According to him, the BâleHotels are successful thanks to their good market positioning, high service excellence and the best employees.

Born in Basel, he decided to attend the renowned EHL hotel management school in Lausanne after finishing Gymnasium.
"My friends and family always saw me as a hotelier".
After his graduation, he worked at the 5* Hotel International in Basel as Resident Manager and Head of Human Resources. He then moved to the Coop Cooperative, where he held management positions in HR for over 23 years.
In 2020, he returned to his roots within the company to manage BâleHotels and rekindle his passion for the hotel industry.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, loves his garden and loves travelling.
